Description:
Build the future of the AI Data Cloud. Join the Snowflake team.
There is only one Data Cloud. Snowflake’s founders started from scratch and designed a data platform built for the cloud that is effective, affordable, and accessible to all data users. But it didn’t stop there. They engineered Snowflake to power the Data Cloud, where thousands of organisations unlock the value of their data with near-unlimited scale, concurrency, and performance. This is our vision: a world with endless insights to tackle the challenges and opportunities of today and reveal the possibilities of tomorrow.
We’re looking for dedicated students who share our passion for ground-breaking technology and want to create a lasting future for you and Snowflake. As part of our world-class Enterprise Sales Engineering team, interns will engage in structured, hands-on technical projects that tackle real-world challenges and drive impactful outcomes. In addition to project work, interns will have opportunities to connect with Snowflake employees, contribute to community initiatives, and participate in professional development events. These experiences are crafted to promote both personal and professional growth, helping students develop valuable technical and interpersonal skills while advancing their career potential and making a meaningful impact.
EXAMPLE OF WORK FOCUS AREAS:
Interns have the opportunity to work on real-world, high-impact use cases, including but not limited to:
- Natural Language Query Generation with LLMs: Business analysts face bottlenecks due to reliance on technical teams for complex SQL queries, limiting data access for non-technical users. LLMs in Snowflake allow analysts to ask questions in plain English, automatically generating SQL queries to extract insights without needing SQL expertise.
- Unstructured Data Analysis and Insights: Organisations struggle to analyse unstructured data like reviews, social media comments, and emails for actionable insights. Snowflake enables centralised storage and analysis of unstructured data, leveraging machine learning and UDFs to extract meaningful insights.
- Customer Churn Prediction with Machine Learning: Businesses need to predict customer churn by analysing large datasets of customer behaviour, transactions, and support interactions. Snowpark enables data scientists to build machine learning models directly within Snowflake using familiar programming languages, ensuring secure and efficient processing of large datasets.
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
