The Sales Engineer, Internal Sales will be focused on establishing new customers and increasing the sales volume of the company. Supporting roles include qualifying new leads, managing small customers and responding to incoming inquiries from potential customers.

  • Developing new business opportunities in coordination with outside sales
  • Qualifying new leads
  • Executing new marketing Focus Campaigns with the Marketing Department
  • Responding to inquiries from potential customers
  • Managing and establishing pricing and provide commercial support for small customers
  • Travel as it pertains to tradeshows and product training at LINAK A/S
  • All other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology is preferred.
  • Two to four years of application engineering experience or sales engineering experience is preferred.
  • Motion control industry experience is preferred (electric/pneumatic/hydraulic).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Professional appearance and the ability to speak comfortably in new situations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is a must.
  • Travel requirements are less than 25%.
