Sales Engineer (m/f/d)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Technical background in leak testing technology or industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in technical or industrial equipment sales.
- Proven success in developing new markets and driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.
- Experience in the leak testing industry is a strong plus.
- Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of leak testing devices and their applications across various industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Personal Attributes:
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and seminars to promote the company’s products and build brand awareness.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and market trends in the new region.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, industry regulations, and market potential for leak testing devices and automated solutions.
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the US market, including target customers, pricing strategy, and sales tactics.
- Identify and prioritize key accounts, focusing on high-potential industries and companies.
- Business Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their specific leak testing needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with new clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the technical team to deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the primary point of contact for clients in the new market.
- Gather customer feedback to improve products and services, ensuring continuous satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage and update CRM systems with customer interactions, sales forecasts, and market insights.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management.
- Provide regular updates on market conditions, competitive activity, and new business opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, product development, and technical support teams to align on market entry strategies and customer needs.
