The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical sales, a deep understanding of leak testing technology, and the ability to drive business growth in a new market. Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Technical background in leak testing technology or industrial equipment is highly desirable.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in technical or industrial equipment sales.
  • Proven success in developing new markets and driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in the leak testing industry is a strong plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong technical understanding of leak testing devices and their applications across various industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Analysis:
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and seminars to promote the company’s products and build brand awareness.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and market trends in the new region.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, industry regulations, and market potential for leak testing devices and automated solutions.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the US market, including target customers, pricing strategy, and sales tactics.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts, focusing on high-potential industries and companies.
  • Business Development:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their specific leak testing needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with new clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the primary point of contact for clients in the new market.
  • Gather customer feedback to improve products and services, ensuring continuous satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage and update CRM systems with customer interactions, sales forecasts, and market insights.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management.
  • Provide regular updates on market conditions, competitive activity, and new business opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and technical support teams to align on market entry strategies and customer needs.
