Join our CT_MTCS team within Chemtech division in Germany as Sales Engineer MTCS CTDE to help us take our business to the next level.
Career opportunity: Sales Engineer (m/w/d) Sulzer Chemtech in Essen.
Drive the growth of our mass transfer components and services business in assigned territory and / or assigned clients. Generate and process leads, technically and commercially, from first contact until contract award. Build and maintain customer relationships and network.
YOUR MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer presentations about our technologies, products, services and specific applications
- Prepare and calculate, in conjunction and coordination with back-office, sales support, and APT, commercial and technical proposals
- Present and negotiate commercial and technical proposals with customers in coordination with APT and Sales management
- Achieve order intake whilst following 10 golden rules and Sulzer’s ethical standards
- Monitor the opportunity pipeline and provide management with accurate and reliable forecast
- Follow market trends, customers and competitors and propose actions to address and utilize market needs
- Liaise with engineers in the APT Refinery and Chemical & Petrochemical, as well as with other CT offices worldwide as necessary
- Familiar with calculation and other IT-tools such as Sulprice, Sultech, Sulprop, M-Files etc.
- Consistent usage and update of CRM and forecast tool
- Development of long-term relationships with key customers
- Act in accordance to Sulzer Code of Conduct and Authority matrix
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Level: Master Subject: Chemical or Process Engineering
- Work experience: 5-8 years in these areas
- Expertise: Knowledge of the mass transfer market in the Territory
- Engaged business person with professional sales experience in similar business environment.Customer relationships; Strategic commercial insight; Interpersonal and communication skills; Team and customer oriented, with the ambition to increase responsibilities including but not limited to leading an experienced sales team
- Languages: fluent in German and English
