ROLE OVERVIEW:

This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of construction materials and methods, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pricing labour, materials, and onsite equipment prior to contract signing
• Checking Supplier/Subcontractor quotes and issuing purchase orders for onsite works
• Assisting with client sales estimates and upgrade costings
• Creating and sustaining ongoing relationships with Subcontractors and Suppliers
• Assisting in resolving on-site issues relating to purchase orders
• Ensuring all project costs adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements in residential construction
• Researching and maintaining updated information on market costs for materials, labour, and subcontractor rates to ensure accurate estimates
• Assisting in creating and adjusting project timelines and schedules to keep the project on track and avoid costly delays
• Maintaining thorough documentation of cost estimates, quotes, schedules, and any changes in project scope or budget
