WHAT YOU’VE GOT:

  • Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucketloads of it!
  • Experience working in a customer service phone based environment
  • Experience in a sales and / or events environment
  • Proven ability to effectively multi-task and problem solve quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including competency in effectively communicating with different stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail, prioritisation and time management skills
  • Confidence and proficient in using Mac and Google Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce would be considered advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Accept guest function enquiries (function leads) via phone, email, website, venue about Funlab facilities and brands (Strike/Holey Moley/Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq/B. Lucky & Sons/Juke’s Karaoke/Escape Rooms) and provide prompt and accurate information for guests;
  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of Funlab Function procedures and limitations and to be abreast with set up styles and capacities for each Funlab venue and the activities each offer;
  • Provide written quotations within standard response times;
  • Convert function enquiries into bookings using the sales toolkit;
  • Create opportunities to upsell and enhance the function booking and guest experience;
  • Develop good client relationships by providing prompt, concise and empathetic responses to client needs;
  • Ensure that Funlab policies and procedures are implemented and observed;
  • Ensure that records and event orders are always accurate and up to date;
  • Liaise with colleagues, kitchen and management teams in regard to function bookings;
  • Obtain accurate and comprehensive details regarding events and prepare event orders in a standardised format and in accordance with release schedules;
  • Handle customer complaints, conflict resolution and any situations of confrontation with guests with professionalism and compassion;
  • Champion Funlab’s Core Values in any and all interactions (with guests, internal and external stakeholders)
