The Opportunity
Join us on our journey to become a world class sales organisation. Cochlear now has a newly created opportunity for a Sales Excellence Manager to join our growing team and play a critical role in driving sales effectiveness, optimising performance and enhancing productivity across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Reporting to the Director of Sales Excellence, APAC, This position partners closely with the APAC General Managers and Sales Directors, Regional Marketing and Clinical teams, and with Global and Regional Sales Excellence.
The Sales Excellence Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of strategic sales plans, managing and motivating the team to achieve sales excellence KPIs, and support product launch excellence. Further accountabilities include effective onboarding of the sales team; ongoing sales team and sales leader capability development across Cochlear sales methodologies and coaching; adoption of Salesforce Health Cloud, reporting dashboards, Field Plays, and other enablement tools; sales process adherence; cross-functional collaboration and alignment; and sharing and leveraging best practices.

Whilst no 2 days are the same, here are some of the things you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and deliver effective sales training and enablement tools across the APAC Region.
  • Optimise Salesforce Health Cloud implementation and adoption across APAC. optimising adoption of B2B and B2C sales processes and supporting capabilities within Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to optimise the sales process and manage sales performance.

About You. To be successful in this role, we are ideally seeking someone with the following skills and experience:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or related sales role
  • Previous experience in sales management, sales operations or sales enablement
  • Strong experience in learning and development, including in identifying training needs, program design, facilitation, assessment, and evaluation
  • Experience and expertise in implementing, maintaining, and improving sales processes, systems, and tools (including CRM, strategic account management, sales dashboards and reports etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
