JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an energetic and goal-oriented Sales Executive to identify and secure new business opportunities, maintain relationships with existing clients, and contribute to our company’s growth in the shipping industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the shipping or logistics sector, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive, Sales Representative, or similar role, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in international sales and knowledge of global shipping regulations.
  • Familiarity with shipping and logistics software and systems.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve company sales targets and expand market share.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities through research, networking, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our shipping solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client orders and services.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance metrics to management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and post-sales phase.
