REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you will have B2B sales experience, preferably within the health and wellness, food ingredients, or sports nutrition industries. You must be fluent in both Dutch and English (written and verbal) with proficiency in German advantageous.

You will also have the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent organisation skills and deadline focused
  • Excellent communicator with strong negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously and manage own workload
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyse market data and sales metrics

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, working to understand their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth with current clients by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within our product portfolio.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business model and market to provide relevant insights, product recommendations and support.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Benelux region and the German border by researching potential customers and engaging with leads.
  • Present Cambridge Commodities’ products and services to prospective clients, showcasing our capabilities and building long-term relationships.
  • Work strategically to reach annual targets for new client acquisition and incremental revenue growth.
  • Plan and conduct regular on-site visits to both existing and prospective clients across the Benelux region and the German border.
  • Understand customer needs through in-person meetings, delivering exceptional service and fostering trust.
  • Work with internal teams such as marketing, technical support and product development to ensure a smooth sales process and timely response to customer inquiries.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, customer needs and competitor activities in the Netherlands, Benelux region and broader European markets.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market insights and customer feedback
