Description:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experienced, proactive and strategic solutions sales professional with a track record of success selling software or data driven solutions to the investment community.
  • An excellent long-term relationship builder, with the ability to initiate and sustain relationships with large, medium and small sized prospective customers.
  • Confidence and credibility to work at the “C-level” in prospect organizations and all other senior, middle management and junior roles, as required to develop and close sales.
  • Able to define and communicate compelling value proposition.
  • Desire to learn and personally demo the Macrobond platform to prospects, and build existing knowledge of macroeconomics and financial markets
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written German required.

Responsibilities:

Achieve sales targets by:

  • Working closely with the management team to define a targeted sales strategy and execute multiple sales campaigns.
  • Identify appropriate contacts within target vertical market.
  • Prospecting (incl. cold calling) for new business with identified contacts in defined region.
  • Grow existing user base within existing Macrobond customers.
  • Prepare / present compelling proposition proposals.
  • Demonstrate the capabilities of the Macrobond platform.
  • Maintain relationships with identified contacts in target accounts.
  • Plan and manage webinars and marketing campaigns.
  • Weekly on-time reporting of sales pipeline and forecasting information that demonstrates a prospect base is being developed to meet sales quotas.
  • For each targeted account, produce and maintain strategic account plans in CRM system incorporating:
  • Target revenue for that account for stated fiscal year.
  • An organization structure with name, position and contact details.
  • A contact plan for the above including objectives for reaching stated key contacts together with timescales.
  • An engagement approach and account development activity plan plus maintenance of details of all planned and actual interactions with the market in Salesforce.
  • Act as a key point of contact for prospect business issues and questions.
  • Form relationships with Macrobond international sales teams to leverage ideas and global account activity.
  • Maintain a high level of company and product knowledge.
