REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven track record in closing complex, 6-figure+ SaaS deals within the Financial Services sector.
  • Minimum 2 years of enterprise sales experience, ideally across multiple companies.
  • Deep understanding of trade processing or capital markets.
  • Proficiency in CRM, sales methodologies (SPIN, Challenger, etc.), and digital tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience managing RFP/RFI processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in a player/coach model.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales quotas consistently.
  • Experience selling to large asset managers, hedge funds, and investment banks.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in German and English (business-professional/native level) is required to effectively communicate with clients.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Sales, EMEA based in London, this role sits within our sales infrastructure. Based in Germany, ideally Frankfurt, you will be responsible for driving new logo sales for the Financial Markets vertical covering Northern Europe. You will be an individual contributor with support from a team of experienced colleagues. You will apply a high level of strategic thinking and experience of the sector, in engaging with senior-level (C-Suite) stakeholders. You are comfortable managing sales at an enterprise level and demonstrate the gravitas, knowledge, and ability, to represent Xceptor at the highest level.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive new logo sales across Financial Services TAM new name logos in Northern Europe.
  • Deliver an annual revenue target, through new business.
  • Oversee all aspects of the sales process, including identification of client solutions, relationship management, product demonstrations/workshops, and contract negotiation.
  • Develop relationships with decision-influencing senior executives within prospect organizations.
  • Experience in identifying, managing, and developing new name logos.
  • A track record including significant sales of technology-based solutions, to clients in the Financial Markets sector.
  • Solutions-driven with a proven record of achieving/exceeding annual quota targets.
  • High level of gravitas, with experience in engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Highly competent in delivering product presentations, managing client workshops, and creating use cases.
  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and creatively to develop solutions that meet the needs.
