PROACTIVE SALES EXECUTIVE – HILTON COBHAM/HILTON LONDON CROYDON

We are looking for a highly motivated people person with a passion to succeed in sales within the Hospitality Industry to join our team as Sales Executive for two of our hotels.
Reporting to the Sales Manager this role will be a key part of our proactive sales function for all properties within the cluster.
The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of sales development from research to develop new business, utilising social platforms to drive opportunity, networking in the local market, to client show rounds and much more.
Whilst experience in sales or hospitality would be beneficial, we are looking for a people person with innovative fresh ideas to drive sales and a strong desire to progress to the next level within the industry.
Training and development is a huge part of our sales culture and we are looking for someone who is not only hungry for the opportunity but will strive to be the best in the business and further their career within the Hilton sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads
  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
  • Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
  • Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
  • Work within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunities
  • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
  • Attend Sales events, as required
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
  • Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manne
