A new business sales vacancy exists within the team, and the role focuses on growing our retail membership. Retailers and brands are attracted to the market data and insight IMRG offers and attend high-quality events in the IMRG programme and the VIP programme at Ecommerce Expo. You would be the primary sales contact for retailers and brands looking to sign up for IMRG membership. This hands-on role offers great autonomy, variety, and a real opportunity to make an impact.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
- Generate new membership and sponsorship revenue for the Technology Partner membership
- Outbound sales activity to totally new contacts and conversion of inbound enquiries
- Utilise lead gen platforms such as LinkedIn Navigator and Apollo to target new contacts
- Actively build and refresh contact data on the Salesforce customer database
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, build the target database, and monitor all account activity on Salesforce
- Actively develop new leads through social media, email, phone activity, event attendance, and networking.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales team to help shape and deliver the sales and marketing activity plan.

- Effective using social media, primarily LinkedIn, email, and lead gen tools such as Apollo/Navigator for lead generation

- Confident and persuasive communication on the phone and face-to-face
- Well organised. Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce ideally), reporting and planning

Experience
We are searching for someone who is looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic entrepreneurial team. Sales experience, particularly if sector relevant, is desirable. Proven success using lead gen platforms is particularly relevant. Being able to demonstrate your suitability for the role is key. We particularly want evidence of working successfully to achieve targets, initiative, and drive.
