Job Description

  • Meet sales revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis for all business units
  • Solicits wholesale and leisure business from all markets through action plan preparation and execution
  • Participates in road shows and promotional events within the hotel and trade related organizations
  • Orchestrate all arrangements for qualified site inspections and familiarization trips
  • Sustain positive relationships with all local DMC’s, tour operators, heartist and AH global sales network
  • Maintains account, contact, activity and business details within Anais
  • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required
  • Compiles marketing and competitive intelligence information and provide pricing strategy within the designated market of expertise
  • Extend support to the leisure and group sales team beyond the designated market of expertise
  • Balance operational, administrative and heartist needs
  • Follow department policies and procedures
  • Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum High School Diploma, Business School and/or Hotel School Diploma preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience in Leisure segment, knowledge of markets, prices points and strategy.
  • Candidate must have flexible schedule and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be results oriented, enthusiastic and a strong team player
  • Must be able to prioritize, organize and be self-efficient.
  • Computer knowledge of Windows 2003 (Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Access) Opera Sales & Catering
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours especially during peak periods.
  • Must possess good Sales skills, guest service skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills.
  • Proficient in English language (Verbal and written), second language is an asset.
