The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Liaise and build relationships via 1:1 consultations with Shopee’s brands and sellers to understand Ads objective, share personalized best practices for sellers to manage their Ads more effectively and build sellers confidence to invest in Shopee Ads for the long term
  • Plan and align on Ads strategy for Shopee’s brands and sellers that will achieve their Ads goals as well as increase their Ads investment on a Month on Month basis; achieve revenue targets for the organization based on alignment with brands in your portfolio
  • Analyze seller’s data to provide guidance and advice on how to improve their sales by leveraging Shopee Ads; Produce periodic reports for sellers and management if required
  • Gather feedback / suggestions via 1:1 consultations and work with the team to improve on existing Ads services to Shopee sellers and drive Ads revenue
  • Identify opportunities amongst Shopee’s seller segments to design and propose Ad Sales Programmes (focused on large brands and sellers) that are impactful in driving incremental Ads revenue for the organization
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g: marketing and business development) to implement and coordinate ad hoc requests

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field is required
  • 3-5 years of experience as Ads Account Manager or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred
  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Hunger to generate revenue and monetise for the organization
  • Good team player, adaptable, positive working attitude, and a quick learner
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (verbal and written communication skills)
  • Proficiency and comfort in utilizing Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) as well as collaborating on Google sheets and Google slides
