Description:
Responsible to develop innovative solutions to deliver Customer outcomes and drive growth while managing company risk/reward Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, you would possess the following qualification, skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from a local or internationally recognized institution.
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis is essential.
- As this role contributes to the overall P&L of the business, deep understanding of commercial finance functions and processes is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including at least 1 year of experience in managing and developing a global team of 3-4 is a must.
- Previous experience in finance capacity within large engineering or energy organization is a must.
- Proven track record of success in a complex, matrixed multinational organization.

Responsibilities:
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of a team of people covering the full range of Distinct Area of Work (DAW) within the Commercial Finance family. This DAW also covers generalists responsible for driving commercial finance operating rhythms by providing centralized finance reporting capabilities, commercial productivity metrics, commercial forecasting, and contribute to the overall business growth. Lead commercial financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis while supporting regional sales / commercial teams.
- Developing expertise within function. Growing reputation within the organization. Includes roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership. Influences policy and ensures delivery within own function, linking with other functions of the organization. May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business solutions to leaders in functional area. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
- Has major influence on small business unit, a segment within a larger business unit, a family within a Function or a P&L business segment and has ownership/influence over budgets. The role is guided by functional policy. The role influences policy/operating guidelines about important subjects.
- Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- Partner with International sales general manager and APAC project manager to drive financial rigor and outcomes for the business
- Own APAC Sales & Margin planning preparations for planning sessions by coordinating with the S&OP team and the PM organization to drive accuracy in assumptions of operational milestone
- Daily management of billings & collections with project teams; Own cost control through reviews of outbound transportation and C&I with project managers
