You will guide all Ferring commercial shared services including the development and aligning of key business process including the annual commercial budget process, annual marketing plan management and 5 years business plan. The position is also responsible for leading Trade, Business Intelligence, Sales Effectiveness, Digital and NPP Marketing support and Market Access strategy. The position will create an internal consulting team that is able to transform market information into issues, opportunities and strategic recommendations that are utilized by Ferring.

Role related Performance Indicators and KPIs:

  • Accurate and on-time business analytical reporting,
  • Valuable suggestions for improvement on salesforce effectiveness,
  • Salesforce incentive scheme,
  • Setting up and monitoring specific and aligned set of KPIs (SFE, Omnichannel, Other sales KPIs),
  • CRM-OCE system readiness.

Main Accountabilities (not person related):

Drive salesforce productivity:

  • Be responsible for sales force effectiveness, including profiling and segmentation, targeting, territory management and so on,
  • Provide data analytics & insight on business opportunity & risk from productivity report and other various analysis,
  • Manage CRM tool to ensure regular SFE reports to various levels of users with diagnostic and follow-up actions.

Responsible for Salesforce Incentive Plan (scheme design & calculation):

  • Manage salesforce incentive plan to ensure the competitive award program in place,
  • Liaison with BUs for ad hoc incentive plan,
  • Manage Top-sales recognition criteria.

Performance data management (DDI & BI):

  • Build sales data platform and SOP to ensure one set of data,
  • Continuous improvement on process efficiency and data accuracy,
  • Selling the concept of “one set of data” by continuously improving the effectiveness of tools provided,
  • Seek and establish relationships with providers of primary and secondary data sources and consulting services.

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the area of marketing excellence,
  • Proven experience with sales incentive plans for commercial teams,
  • Advanced English,
  • Ability to work with tools like: Power BI,
  • MS Excel on an advanced level,
  • Proven record in CRM, OCE or Veeva,
  • Consultancy like PEX, IQVIA,
  • Digital channels and MCO/regional experience are an advantage,
  • Strong analytical skills, effective people communication and willing to do attitude,
  • Understanding of local healthcare environment, regulations and market access.
