WHICH SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE SUPPORTIVE?

  • Relationships: Proven sales track record and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally and across a variety of personality types and with competing priorities.
  • Communication: Clear, professional, and effective communication and presentation skills are pivotal in building trust with internal (Sales teammates) and third-party stakeholders (lenders, licensing office, vendors, body-upfitters). Actively listening is important here.
  • Language: Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, and/or Punjabi verbal and written communication skills is considered a strong asset.
  • Technology: Proficiency with a computer (laptop) and software applications including Microsoft Excel, One-Eighty CRM, and Google Suite Products (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Forms) is a requirement. The successful candidate will be able to design, build, read, and pull meaningful insights from large volumes of data; organize it and communicate it to Leadership.
  • Organization and prioritization skills are paramount. There is considerable ‘paperwork’ (digital and copy) involved in commercial truck transactions. The successful candidate will be effective at overseeing multiple deals.
  • Problem-solving: The successful candidate will be a proactive, solutions-focused individual, embracing challenge as opportunity with a keen eye for process improvement and strategic thinking. Be resourceful and positive.
  • Education: A diploma or degree in Business from an accredited College or University is an asset. Finance and leasing play a large role in our company and for the Associate Account Manager role. A comfort with numbers is critical.

Responsibilities:

  • Licensing: Collaborate with Hino Sales Account Managers to complete Hino truck licensing requests for commercial customers; own the organization of administrative paperwork with successful hand-offs to internal operations for final licensing, and effective communication back to the Sales Team prior to delivery. Be a strong collaborator, communicator, and effective negotiator in order to win the trust and support of local licensing offices, Operations, and Sales teammates.
  • Throughput: Manage the paper and digital flow of deals through Google suite of products from Inventory listed, Signed Deals, through to Delivery and payment confirmation; ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policy (audit function) at all times. Identify challenges requiring resolution.
  • Deal Desking: Audit Hino delivery files to ensure file completeness and timely delivery to the Accounting department for booking. Liaison and collaborate effectively with Sales teammates, Lenders, Operations, and Third-Party Vendors to ensure financial accuracy, funding agreements, and supplier payment. Proactively reconcile HMC rebates and sales CAP support requests on a deal-by-deal basis. Pull Services Repair Orders (RO’s) into One-Eighty and save back-ups to Somerville storage repositories (Google Drive).
  • Organizing Payroll: Prepare Hino payroll summary schedules for 5+ Hino Sales Account Managers across multiple dealerships, by populating deal delivery and bonus details, ensuring accuracy and completeness; submit payroll schedules to Hino leadership to ensure timely payroll hand-off to Accounting department.
  • Insightful Reporting: Master, innovate, and oversee reporting processes and complete file archiving across Google Suite of Products (Sheets and Drive), One-Eighty CRM system, as well as Hino Motors Canada portal. Track profitability metrics on a per vehicle basis and communicate meaningful insights to the leadership team.
  • POs and Invoicing: Produce purchase orders based on vendor quotations for upfitting and repairs. Create internal and external invoices for dealer reserves and bills of sale as required on financing and intercompany transactions.
  • Basic Marketing Administration: Administratively update current Inventory via CRM to website platforms.
