YOUR EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/QUALITIES

  • Degree in Molecular Biology is preferred
  • Equivalent experience within Life Sciences is absolutely acceptable.
  • Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 required).
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to thrive in a successful team and adapt to a constantly evolving business environment.
  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in sales or other customer-facing roles would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the account manager with sales opportunities of new and existing customers, ensuring the successful management of company products and services to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan.
  • Coordinate sales processes in the accounts for an assigned geography, aligning with approved sales and marketing plans in collaboration with account managers.
  • Participate in sales, product, and systems training, as well as marketing campaigns and special projects, to develop the necessary selling skills.
  • Assist the sales manager in negotiations with customers, including the preparation and follow-up of sales quotations.
  • Provide regular updates on sales numbers to team leaders and management, working closely with the supported sales manager.
  • Maintain and expand the current customer database through effective use of customer relationship management software (CRM).
