Roles Responsibilities

This position reports to the director and interfaces with Organisation managers and HR staff. Studio 21 (Pte. • Conceptualizing and developing design proposals that align with client needs and project goals.
• Creating detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Collaborating with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
• Staying updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the table.
• Assisting senior designers and architects while learning on the job and honing your craft.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma / Nitec in Interior Design or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for interior design.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced industry.
• 
  Specific Responsibilities
  Individual to be involved in:
• Creating design, ensuring concepts and ideas are fresh and creativity from concept design and space planning to development and presentation
• Understanding of trends and insights and incorporating these into their unique design solutions
• Conceptualises design plans, blueprints and prepares hand sketches or other visual aids to present designs to the client
• Attend meeting with clients to determine their needs and preferences
• Attend site visits and respond to issues if any
• Responsible for all design documentations and construction specification such as site measurement, layout plan & selection of material used
• Lead and direct all communication between clients, construction, supplier, and contractors and ensuring meetings are properly recorded
• Overseeing the installation of design elements and making any necessary adjustments
• Ensure successful hand over to clientwithin agreed timelines and budgets
  Technical skills and Competencies
• Strong sense of creativity to come upwith unique design and innovative ideas
• Knowledgeable in current industry trend
• Proficiency in drawing and using designsoftware such as Adobe Photoshop,Autocad
• Communication and Interpersonal skillsto build trust and relationships with clients
• Active listening to understand client’srequirement
• Attention to details
• Knowledge of materials and theirapplication
• Project Management skills includingbudgeting, scheduling and overseeing allinstallations
