About the job

As our new Sales Manager, your core responsibility will be to drive the sales of Alfa Laval’s Heater product line. Some of your main tasks will be:

  • Working closely with Alfa Laval’s sales companies to identify business opportunities for our Heater product line.
  • In collaboration with Alfa Laval’s sales companies to drive implementation and sales of our Heater solution with dedicated focus on the Maritime New buildings / Yards; Shipowners; OEM e.g.
  • Secure training and consistent follow-up with Alfa Laval’s sales companies to secure proactive sales of Alfa Laval’s Heaters.
  • Be the leading voice and advocate for Heaters in Capital Sales, engaging with all Alfa Laval stakeholders, including e.g. Service, Application, and Product Management.
  • In collaboration with our Global Sales Manager conduct a forecasting process for our Heater production line to ensure efficient production planning and meet market demands.
  • In collaboration with our Global Sales Manager to ensure that the production groups’ Heaters are aligned across all sales processes within the Framework.
  • Secure collaboration with other stakeholders to maintain effective sales tools, such as the Configurator.

What you know
We imagine you have a technical engineering background and at least a couple of years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the marine industry. We expect that you have experience using CRM systems or similar tools in your day-to-day work.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
Travel activity will be around 40 – 50 days per year.
