It uses the power of artificial intelligence, algorithms, and integrated route optimization to simplify and streamline all aspects of dispatching and delivery operations for on-demand and last-mile shippers and carriers.
Launched in 2018 and based in Montreal, Canada, Dispatch Science is growing quickly throughout North America. Its talented and diverse team is eager to welcome a new member to join the team, as a full-time Sales Manager, working remotely.
Job Description

Reporting to the CEO and collaborating with Marketing, Professional Services and Software Developers, the Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full sales cycle and their own assigned territory to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Dispatch Science
  • Understanding and presenting the Dispatch Science products and solutions portfolio to prospective clients in our target market
  • Developing and leveraging existing relationships in our space with potential buyers through video meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, business networking, phone calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Qualifying, developing, and closing inbound leads generated by our marketing team
  • Working with the management team to develop and grow the leads pipeline to consistently meet quarterly goals
  • Managing information for new and prospective clients and logging all communications in CRM
  • Creating compelling proposals tailored to the characteristics of each opportunity
  • Negotiating agreements for long-term client relationships
  • Closing new business and helping to hand-off and transition clients to our Professional Services Team for onboarding.

This is the perfect job for you, if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales
  • 2-3 years selling software solutions or technology services
  • Industry experience in Transportation, TMS Software Solutions, Final Mile deliveries is an asset
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growth in competitive markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with a dynamic personality
  • Passionate about leading-edge technologies
  • Exceptional organization skills and able to work from your home
  • The ability to travel for tradeshows, networking events, team events, and prospect presentations
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills in English
  • French would be considered an asset but is not required for this position.
