Job description
As Sales Manager for the Asia Region, you are responsible for managing sales operations across Southeast Asia (SEA), Northeast Asia (NEA) and Australia/New Zealand (AU/NZ), implementing the business strategy for the area. In this role you will manage a local sales team. You possess strong commercial determination, you can identify stakeholders and you have a proven track record in driving sales growth in a multinational environment. You report to the Regional Director.

KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge: Strong technical and commercial insight with an architectural sensibility; fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
  • Skills: Results-oriented with a drive for success, possessing excellent planning and organization skills; adept at refining structures and processes; capable people manager.
  • Attitudes: Competitive, structured, strategic thinker; direct and inventive in approach; dedicated to customer satisfaction and achieving results.

Responsibilities:

  • Regional Sales Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Asia region, focusing on revenue growth and market expansion in SEA, NEA and AU/NZ.
  • Business Development: Identify and seize new business opportunities to increase market share and enhance customer relationships across the region. Increase, together with the sales team, our network of designers and professionalize our distribution network; knowing our network and installing selective distribution.
  • Operational: Taking action to further grow within a market, to increase our brand awareness and to achieve the budgeted margins. Installing clear structures regarding discount policy, price policy.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a sales team, providing mentorship, support, and guidance while promoting a collaborative cross-cultural work environment. You permanently align team members and streamline processes, procedures and working methods with the corporate strategy and with HQ. Build a team of brand ambassadors.
  • Performance Analytics: Monitor sales performance metrics, conduct Sales, P&L, MKT, HR and Operational reviews, and present key insights and recommendations to the direct manager. Achieving the SGA (Sales, General & Administrative costs) budget within your region, and P&L when appropriate, and take all necessary actions to improve the bottom line.
  • Strategic Planning: Refine sales structures and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Customer Focus: Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, striving for customer satisfaction and retention.
