We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Sales Manager to join our fantastic Sales Force at the stunning Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott FULL TIME. You will be working alongside a great team of experienced Associates who will ensure that you receive a warm welcome and understand the importance in exceeding our customer expectations.

Set in an enviable location, overlooking the beach, The Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott has recently undergone a full refurbishment and is a refreshing seaside retreat on the South Coast. With 163 premium bedrooms, including 5 luxury suites and 10 function venues, the hotel offers bespoke experiences for our guests. As Hotel Sales Leader, you are responsible for driving total hotel sales, with a focus on large group and catering opportunities.
Responsible for proactively soliciting and managing large group/catering related opportunities with significant revenue potential. Manages group/catering opportunities not handled by an Event Booking Center (EBC). Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Responsible for driving customer/guest loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer/guest experience. Provides service to customers in order to grow the account on behalf of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes intranet for resources and information.
  • Conducts site inspections.
  • Creates contracts as required.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
