The Sales Manager-Business Connectivity is a dedicated supervisor for a Specialist–Business Connectivity Sales team. This team is responsible for accelerating customer growth by concentrating on acquiring new business customers and cross-selling to eligible customers with Fiber and 5G connections.
What you’ll do:
- Directs and supervises assigned IB Consultants whose primary responsibility is to sell a simplified AT&T product set, such as, Business Fiber, Business Wireless (Voice), Fixed Wireless, & Value-Added Services.
- Formulates sales plan for team and provides tactical input to leadership. Provides input for sales strategies within assigned territory.
- Collaborates in planning sales strategy and training sales team in implementing plans.
- Provides expertise and consultation to assist with difficult customer problems and participates in important negotiations with customers.
- Spends most of the time in the field with their team, coaching, training and participating in customer appointments.
- Responsible for coaching and developing direct reports to ensure execution of their primary responsibilities which include: prospecting through cold calls and door knocking, on site customer appointments, proposing solutions, tracking activities through Salesforce and processing orders.
- Manages the work efforts of direct reports and influences the hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
What you need:
- Requires organizational and technical knowledge sufficient to resolve complex customer problems.
- 8+ years outside sales, direct sales or B2B sales related experience
- Experience selling business telecommunications and/or technology solutions direct to mid-market, mid-size, or enterprise businesses.
- At least 1+ year of leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Finance, Marketing or related field is preferred.

Our Sales Manager-Business Connectivity earn between $70,200 - $105,400 + commission with a total target compensation of $130,200 – $165,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
