Become part of the Sales Team for four first-rated hotels in Niagara Falls including the Sheraton Fallsview, Marriott on the Falls, Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa and the new Brock Plaza Niagara Falls – Fallsview, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, with remarkable guestrooms, meeting facilities, entertainment and dining options. Together we host the largest inventory of hotel meeting and event space in Niagara Falls, featuring 2,000 guestroom and suites, 200,000 sq. ft of event space and 6 unique venues.
Overview
This Sales position requires a competitive, decisive, friendly, well-spoken individual who has a passion for sales, a high standard of guest service and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be open to challenges and possess professional communication and presentation skills, knowledge of the Company’s products and services, strong sales skills, is goal oriented and excels in a team or individual atmosphere. This position is a contract, starting in June of 2025 and continuing for approximately one year. You’ll be working in-office in Niagara Falls, Monday to Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous related successful sales track record, preferably within a hospitality, food and beverage and/or attraction environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver professional presentations to current and prospective clients
- Willingness and ability to travel for trade shows, appointments and presentations
- Desire to be part of a winning Sales Team
- Drive guest loyalty through excellent customer service throughout the sales process, including site visits and presentations, to ensure repeated business and revenue
- Demonstrate superior negotiation and presentation skills in order develop and maintain relationships with guests to ensure repeated business
- Demonstrate initiative in order to personally generate leads, proposals, and carry out sales solicitation by making personal and sales calls
- Demonstrate innovative ability to meet sales targets and grow business.
- Demonstrate ability to maintain professional composure at all times, while performing multiple tasks to meet timelines and sales quotas
- Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite products – particularly Outlook, Word and Excel programs
- Highly developed financial /mathematical skills/aptitude
- Previous experience with sales booking system an asset
- Flexible to work according to client requirements
- Able to work independently

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan for the Sports, Religious and social markets that expands the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence for the market.
- Proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities through continued prospecting through telephone solicitations, personal presentations, site inspections, and via correspondence.
- Develop new business, increase and maintain existing accounts.
- Negotiate and close business to achieve and exceed all sales goals.
- Explore marketing & tradeshow opportunities for your market and provide Regional Director of Sales with detailed benefits and cost of participation.
- Exceed client’s expectations.
- Service accounts from initial contact to business booked and confirmed.
- Up-sell groups/conventions whenever possible and cross-sell all Canadian Niagara Hotels properties.
- Create and maintain current and future, accurate, client data base and profiles.
- Represent the Company on sites, FAMs, sales trips and at designated trade shows and provide pre and post reports.
- Attend and become active in industry association of which membership is confirmed.
- Maintain awareness of business, market and consumer trends, including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc.
- Other duties assigned.
