Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of sales experience, preferably as a supervisor or manager in a hospitality setting
  • Experience in selling SMERF and corporate.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for sales with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow.
  • Ability to effectively pitch and present information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed based on event needs.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required for this rol

Responsibilities:

  • Initiates Sales Process: Schedule appointments, make presentations, conduct tours, and understand guest needs to create memorable events.
  • Close Sales: Build rapport with guests, thoroughly explain product and service capabilities, problem-solve to overcome objections, and execute detailed contracts.
  • Community Networking: Attend local events and mixers to generate new business and foster relationships through active networking.
  • Database Development: Maintain a current database and increase contacts in corporate, schools, military, educational, religious, and fraternal groups to increase business and social events.
  • Sales Strategy: Suggest sales ideas specific to locations to build the client base and increase the frequency of booked events
  • Coordination: Coordinate sales efforts under the guidance of the National Director. Individuals must be detail-oriented and understand the event process to ensure the seamless execution of events.
