Summary
For the area “Sales Airborne/ Security Solutions” we are looking for a* Sales Manager D-A-CH (f/m/d) at the location Taufkirchen, Immenstaad, Oberkochen or Ulm as soon as possible.
The Sales Manager D-A-CH for Airborne Optronics is responsible for the sales of HENSOLDT Airborne Optronics products in the region Germany - Austria - Switzerland.
HENSOLDT Airborne Optronics products include self-protection systems for airborne platforms, optical EO / IR sensors, laser rangefinders / designators and more.
Our products can be installed in all types of fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms and are already installed on many German platforms, such as EF, A400M, NH90, Tiger, CH-53, H145M.
As a rule, sales campaigns in Germany are quite complex and of high value, therefore the Sales Manager has to fulfill various additional internal and external tasks besides the usual tasks.
Your Tasks
- Implementation of stakeholder management for the German government customer (including BAAINBw, BMVg, Naval Command and other stakeholders)
- Implementation of stakeholder management for German industrial customers and/or partners (e.g. Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Defense and Space and others)
- (Re-)building relationships and conducting stakeholder management with Austrian and Swiss customers and / or authorities
- Management of all campaigns (small to complex) in the D-A-CH region as capture manager and as representative of HENSOLDT towards the customer
- Responding to RFIs and RFPs and submitting non-binding and binding offers to the respective customers
- Carrying out company-wide internal stakeholder management with the adjacent divisions and business units as well as all HENSOLDT locations and safeguarding the interests of our business unit (Airborne Optronics) within the framework of the “One HENSOLDT” concept.
- Execution of stakeholder management within our business unit (sales, proposal management, PMO, advertising, procurement, legal, technical) and alignment of all parties involved towards the common (campaign) goal
- Fulfilling internal process requirements by conducting phase reviews, compliance checks and more as the responsible Capture Manager together with the Bid Manager
- Ensuring the success of the campaigns as the responsible capture manager from “lead” to “contract signing”
- actively contribute to the realization of the Airborne Optronics Sales Order Intake targets and strategy to secure the (future) business of our business unit
Your Profile
- Completed studies in the fields of engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, economics or similar
- Existing strong network and extensive professional experience in the aerospace sector
- Several years of practical professional experience in sales and customer relationship management
- Skilled in the preparation of offers
- Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills across different levels and areas of responsibility
- High level of commitment, openness to other cultures, enjoyment of selling and intercultural awareness
- Business fluent in German and English
