QUALIFICATIONS
- Current experience as a General Sales Manager or Sales Manager in a dealership is required.
- Must have a valid OMVIC license.
- Ability to support and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Experience with Auto Alert, One-Eighty, TMS, V-Auto, and CDK are definite assets.
- Strong facilitation and leadership skills with the ability to motivate others.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales pipeline: From prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals, you’ll oversee the entire sales process with strategic insight and efficiency.
- Provide leadership: Guide and mentor the sales team to ensure they meet and exceed performance targets, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Analyze sales metrics: Monitor and optimize sales performance metrics to refine strategies and maximize profitability.
- Enhance guest experience: Ensure customers receive exceptional service throughout their dealership journey.
- Inventory management: Oversee vehicle purchases and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Operational involvement: Be hands-on in daily operations, directly supporting and guiding the sales team.
- Marketing and sales events: Plan and execute monthly events aligned with factory programs and inventory to achieve retail sales objectives.
- Drive profitability: Develop and implement strategies to enhance dealership profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate across departments: Work closely with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall dealership efficiency.
- Stay updated: Remain informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure the dealership remains competitive and innovative.
