QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current experience as a General Sales Manager or Sales Manager in a dealership is required.
  • Must have a valid OMVIC license.
  • Ability to support and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Experience with Auto Alert, One-Eighty, TMS, V-Auto, and CDK are definite assets.
  • Strong facilitation and leadership skills with the ability to motivate others.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales pipeline: From prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals, you’ll oversee the entire sales process with strategic insight and efficiency.
  • Provide leadership: Guide and mentor the sales team to ensure they meet and exceed performance targets, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Analyze sales metrics: Monitor and optimize sales performance metrics to refine strategies and maximize profitability.
  • Enhance guest experience: Ensure customers receive exceptional service throughout their dealership journey.
  • Inventory management: Oversee vehicle purchases and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Operational involvement: Be hands-on in daily operations, directly supporting and guiding the sales team.
  • Marketing and sales events: Plan and execute monthly events aligned with factory programs and inventory to achieve retail sales objectives.
  • Drive profitability: Develop and implement strategies to enhance dealership profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate across departments: Work closely with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall dealership efficiency.
  • Stay updated: Remain informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure the dealership remains competitive and innovative.
