Description:
At Travel Incorporated, we make business travel easier for our corporate clients and their travelers. We’re looking for a sales professional who will help expand our reach in the Federal government civilian sector. The selected individual will identify, cultivate and close sales pportunities within the Federal government civilian sector.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS INCLUDE:
- EDUCATION: College degree or education/experience equivalent or training.
- EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years of sales and industry experience with demonstrated ability to sell, close and negotiate; Specific experience selling to the federal government strongly preferred; In-depth understanding of federal government procurement processes, contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedule, ETS Next), and compliance requirements.
- TECHNOLOGY: Strong computer/technology skills including word processing and spreadsheets with Microsoft Office, Google business suite or similar required; literacy with basic computer operations, file maintenance and standard office tools such as email, calendars and video meetings required; prior experience with CRM program such as Salesforce strongly preferred.
- COMMUNICATION: Strong written and verbal communications skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; Tailors communication style and content to the audience; Encourages and values contribution from others and works as a team member; Ensures proper phone and email etiquette within all communications; Presents professional image at all times and positively represents Travel Incorporated.

Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the federal government market and achieve sales targets.
- Establishes strategic outreach and drives Travel Incorporated Government Brand Awareness across Civilian agencies.
- Identifies and qualifies leads within federal government agencies through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including sales leadership, marketing, and product teams, to develop tailored value propositions and proposals that meet the specific needs of federal government agencies.
- Serves as technical strategist, identifying technical needs of both prospective and current government clients.
- Manages Travel Incorporated’s direct relationship with GSA, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes within the structure, processes and applications required for ETS Next.
- Conducts presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with key decision-makers within federal government agencies to secure new business.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with Travel Incorporated’s existing federal government clients to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities along with having a current network in the government sector.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and activity records using CRM software.
- Stays informed about industry trends, government procurement regulations including ETS Next, and the competitive landscape to effectively position Travel Incorporated’s solutions and value in the marketplace.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
