JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

Job Summary
We are a leading rigid packaging manufacturer and distributor seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling rigid packaging products and services to customers in this sector. Nigerian experience is preferred but not essential. The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and building long-term relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the Nigeria market
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers and ensure their needs are met
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the rigid packaging industry and its trends
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and market trends
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders, payments and receipts.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company and build brand awareness
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to all customers
  • Build a strong sales team and lead them to achieve personal and company targetsFollow up on client accounts and ensure payments are received in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience selling packaging products and services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM softwareValid driver’s license and ability to travel within Lagos
