Responsibilities:
As our Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing business, revenue, and profitability within the region. This includes overseeing the daily operations of the LATAM team/office while nurturing and growing relationships with distributors and end-users. The position works extremely closely with OHAUS US management to ensure all responsibilities of the role are well-planned and executed efficiently. As a part of its responsibilities, this position ensures that Ohaus de Mexico operations in compliance with Mexican laws and regulations. It also ensures that the products of the company are homologated according to the requirements of the Mexican market. Additional responsibilities include:
- Managing LATAM sales organization to meet established revenue and profit targets. Increasing sales and marketing efforts by selectively adding dealers based on their specialty in the region, and ability to add to the business.
- Responsible for coordinating and integrating the activities of the sales staff with other departments such as marketing, customer service, operations, and finance.
- Determining customer needs and preferences and strengthens customer and dealer relationships in all areas of LATAM.
- Obtaining and analyzing marketplace information such as distributor problems, product problems, changes in dealer organization structure, market perception, competitive products, and market fluctuations, trends and opportunities.
- Assisting in product development by communicating market needs.
- Collaborating with the Marketing Communication Team to enhance communication with dealers. This includes increasing monthly communication frequency through emails, expanding, social media presence, and creating simple application videos in multiple languages. You will also provide launch information to distributors.
- Working together with the Marketing Communications team to develop a strategy for event and show participation in conjunction with dealers.
- Participating in product pricing and annual price changes.
- Designing a Product Strategy to have OHAUS be the main choice against other low-cost competitors.
- Lead handling and DSO reduction strategy.
- Providing all necessary documentation to local Mexican attorney and accounting firm for legal filings.
- Conducing Performance Reviews using the company’s Performance Review System on a timely basis for all direct reports. Responsible for ensuring that employees understand company rules and procedures. ensuring complete training and development for all assigned personnel.
