Description:
Damovo Ireland is looking for a results-driven, dynamic and passionate Sales Manager (m/f/d) to lead our sales team. The Sales Manager will fulfil both a player/manager role and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base in both Ireland and the UK.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their individual and team targets, whilst also achieving your own target
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential customers to drive sales growth
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales performance
- Monitor competitors’ activities and market conditions to stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential threats and opportunities
- Develop strong relationships with key customers and partners to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services and generate leads
Experience and skills we value
- 15 years’ experience selling in the ICT sector
- Extremely organized and disciplined with a realistic approach to pipeline evaluation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers
- An astute, commercially aware individual with a naturally inquisitive streak with the ability to overcome obstacles and simplify complexity
- Experience working to achieve and exceed sales targets and meeting management expectations in terms of accurate forecasting and activity planning
- Self-motivated individual
- Proven track record of success in sales management
- Willingness to travel as required
