DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in Sales management: Proven track record of working on a revenue/sales team at a high-growth company.
Revenue operations strategy: Proven history of building a revenue operations strategy from the ground up.
Data-driven growth initiatives: Must have a passion for consuming sales data with experience leading, implementing, and scaling growth initiatives driven by analytics.
Tech stack management: Hands-on experience managing a tech stack for a revenue team, including CRM (e.g., Go High Level), LMS, and Customer Success tools.
Data analysis skills: Proven ability to manage complex data sets and solving problems using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, dialing systems, etc.
Project management: Proven history of successfully managing multiple complex projects with specific deadlines.
Team management experience: Experience managing individuals on a revenue/sales operations team.
Telephone Sales leadership: Demonstrated success as an outbound Telephone sales leader in B2C Financial Education, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), or EduTech products.
Customer insights: Experience analyzing customer health data to inform strategic decision-making.
Business alignment: Passionate about driving business goals forward and aligning pre-sales, sales, and post-sales processes that are data driven.
Data-driven decision-making: Focused on data-driven decision-making that impacts the revenue team’s short and long-term vision.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Build and lead high-performing outbound telephone sales teams, providing strategic guidance to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success departments, with direct leadership over multiple sales people, fostering a collaborative environment that supports revenue growth.
Revenue Operations Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue operations function. This includes pipeline management discipline, quota and compensation plan development and tracking, and creating sales, and success management dashboards.
Cross Functional Leadership: Collaborate with your direct reports in sales and marketing counterparts to drive the generation of high-quality leads that successfully convert into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), and ultimately into revenue-producing clients.
Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure the customer value proposition is effectively mapped across the organization. Act as an executive sponsor to drive higher close rates and increased average deal value.
Talent Acquisition and Development: Develop staffing plans and recruit top talent, ensuring alignment with the go-to-market strategy. Coach and mentor teams to improve performance, reduce sales cycles, and enhance forecast accuracy.
Customer Lifecycle and Expansion Strategies: Collaborate with marketing, and client experience teams to develop comprehensive customer lifecycle strategies that enhance customer segmentation and drive expansion opportunities. Implement personalized engagement approaches, utilizing data-driven insights to guide customers toward additional courses, tools, and strategies, resulting in increased customer retention and lifetime value.
Data-Driven Approach: Utilize CRM and other metrics to optimize processes for scale. Drive Data driven sales analysis to develop and expand sales strategies and customer success practices to achieve revenue targets.
Efficient Onboarding: Lead the development and implementation of a new training/onboarding program to decrease time from hire to productivity.
CRM Hygiene and Data Integrity: Establish a culture of strong CRM hygiene, ensuring that complete and accurate data is consistently entered. Use this data to provide dependable and accurate daily, weekly and monthly revenue forecasts.
Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the Executive leadership team as strategic advisors, setting and tracking KPIs, forecasting, budgeting, and planning initiatives.
Product Alignment: Collaborate with Product teams on positioning, enablement, and roadmap priorities to ensure a cohesive go-to-market approach.
Continuous Learning Culture: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing, encouraging wins to be replicated and losses to be avoided. Identify skill gaps and implement ongoing training programs for sales and customer success teams.
Additional Duties: Perform any other duties assigned that contribute to the overall success of the sales and revenue innovation function.
