Description:
Brandt is currently seeking a Sales Manager for our Material Handling division. This position is responsible for sales growth and profitability of the Material Handling wholegoods department.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred 7+ years’ direct work experience in a sales management capacity
- Experience in the heavy equipment industry strongly preferred
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers
- Confident with decision making regarding financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning
- Must be available to travel as neede
Responsibilities:
- Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets. Included but not limited to new and used Material Handling Wholegood inventory.
- Provide for the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals.
- Management and development of all employees in the Material Handling Sales Department with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers and employees.
- Achieve market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
- Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
- Assisting in the management of Branch account receivables in conjunction with the VP of Credit and VP of Operations.
- Other duties as assigned
