Overview of role
The Sales Manager for Metal Recycling at STEINERT GmbH will be responsible for expanding market presence and driving sales within their designated region. The role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored sorting solutions. Ideal candidates should have strong sales experience, technical knowledge in metal recycling, and excellent communication skills.
Core tasks
- Promote and sell STEINERT products in Southern Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
- Provide expert advice to customers in metal recycling.
- Create and present processing concepts to customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the market.
- Present proposals and negotiate with clients.
- Organize and support customer trials.
- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities and deviations.
- Work closely with technology, engineering, application technology, and testing teams.
Must have requirements
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Waste Management Engineering, Process Engineering, Mineral Processing, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of practical experience in capital goods sales, ideally in recycling applications.
- Strong communication skills with a high service orientation.
- Structured and organized approach to tasks.
