As our current Sales Manager moves to a new role in the company, we are looking for a self-starter with strong initiative to fulfil this challenging role.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Sales Manager Mid-Europe, you will be responsible for the sales and customer service activities in the DACH region. The team currently has three Sales Executives and three Customer Service & Sales Support colleagues. After a successful start, you will take on the challenge of integrating Czech Republic, Poland and Baltic States into the Mid-Europe territory.
You will interact with R&D, Logistics, Purchasing and Production departments as well as suppliers and other external partners, besides our customers.

YOUR PROFILE

For this exciting position, we are looking for a suitable candidate who:

  • has at least 5 years of sales management experience and a proven track record of managing a sales team in the field of packaging coatings & adhesives or waxes.
  • is preferably educated to at least bachelor’s degree level in a commercial or scientific discipline or have demonstrable experience operating at this level.
  • has a hands-on mentality with well-developed sales and key account management skills.
  • is pragmatic, entrepreneurial, creative and strong in autonomously executing the sales plan.
  • understands critical processes within customers, to deliver effective solutions.
  • has excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • preferably lives close to Hamburg.
  • is passionate about increasing our business in the Mid-Europe territory.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role, you will be responsible for:

  • leading the Mid-Europe sales team to achieve set targets.
  • creating and realizing a territory sales plan.
  • expanding our customer portfolio in the territory and increasing our presence and contribution to existing customers.
  • Managing selected (global) key accounts.
  • proactively following up on market information and developments.
  • ensuring customer satisfaction with high service levels.
