Description:

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Sales Manager to join our Sales Team. This role will be based at either our Staverton or Bishops Cleeve, Gloucestershire site.

The Role:
The key focus of the sales manager is to work on specific strategic customer accounts and product lines, and ensure that we are identifying, managing and executing sales leads into bookings to drive sales growth of those products. The sales manager will be developing relationships with customers and with internal stakeholders, to lead bids and proposals and ultimately secure bookings into the business. Within the role you will be reporting to the Senior Sales Manager for the specific Ontic site, and will be an essential member of the sales team as the Ontic continues to grow its business.
This role may require regional travel and occasional international travel.

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 3 years professional customer experience, preferably within an aerospace environment. You should be able to demonstrate new business growth achievements and be able to communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. You should be a self-starter with experience of working in a small, flexible team and be open and willing to adapt to a changing environment.
