JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Diversified Sales Manager provides leadership, support, product and sales training, and guidance for the Sales Engineers in both business units.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Supports a strong, team-based culture that aligns with investment in our people, taking care of our customers and achievement of core expectations.
- Engages with all members of the team to make sure that they are supported and achieve a high level of success.
- Must be able to resolve personnel issues promptly and effectively.
- Clear understanding of strong cross-functional relationships and what they mean to manage a successful business.
- Develops and implements effective strategies to achieve expectations.
- Successfully executes all action plans and strategies to achieve the desired outcome.
- Possesses a strong business acumen to make sound decisions pertaining to the needs of the business including all aspects of P&L.
- Create and submit a monthly and annual sales plan based on market potential.
- Works with inside sales to ensure customer orders are entered and processed correctly and efficiently.
- Ensure customer issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Implement and support corporate initiatives intended to achieve the corporate mission.
- Must be willing to complete sales call as needed with your direct reports
- Responsible for department and direct reports are meeting and exceeding key KPI’s
Qualifications for this position include:
- College degree preferred, alongside a minimum of 6 years of experience pump and motor technology sales, or a comprehensive eight years of sales experience in the industrial technology sector.
- Minimum of one year in sales management, with multi-territory leadership preferred.
- A commitment to the concept of “doing it right the first time”
- Technically knowledgeable of pumps and rotating equipment and related systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and must be able to complete background check.
- Strong desire to WIN and dominate the market
