Parman Tractor & Equipment is looking for a motivated Sales Manager to drive construction and agricultural equipment sales and rentals through a team of dedicated sales representatives. The Sales Manager is also responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing business relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four year university or college or five years Sales or Sales Management experience and/or training preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. Ability to write reports and general business correspondence using professional and accurate grammar. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and customers
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, terminating, training and coaching employees
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage staff by participating in the recruiting, hiring, and training new/existing sales staff
- Provide on-site and in the field support for sales reps
- Oversee CRM efforts of sales department and manage KPI’s such as close and participation rates
- Direct prospecting efforts of the sales staff and implement and manage effective sales strategies as directed by the General Manager
- Works with the General Manager and OEMs we represent to drive and exceed market share goals
- Conducts coaching meetings with all reps while offering other positive and/or negative reinforcement as necessary
- Conducts regular meetings with department personnel to review budgetary numbers versus goals to date, pipeline configurations, prospects and weekly schedules
