Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Consulting Sales Manager to lead efforts in generating new business and driving brand awareness for our data consulting services. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, building strong relationships, and promoting our data-driven solutions. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and consulting teams to create tailored strategies for each prospect and ensure a high conversion rate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or consulting in a data-driven field (e.g., data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or technology).
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with data analytics, AI, machine learning, and digital transformation technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mentality and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to understand clients’ needs and challenges and translate them into tailored data solutions.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and consulting teams.

Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries, using your network, research, and market analysis to uncover leads.
- Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to generate new leads through networking, industry events, digital marketing campaigns, and other channels.
- Sales Strategy: Work closely with leadership to develop and implement a robust sales strategy focused on achieving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and establishing the company as a leader in data consulting.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs and positioning our services as the optimal solution.
- Brand Awareness: Collaborate with the marketing team to drive brand awareness through targeted campaigns, thought leadership, and content marketing.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key decision-makers, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Negotiation & Closing: Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a high rate of conversion.
- Partnerships: Identify and cultivate partnerships with complementary businesses to expand market reach.
- Performance Tracking: Use CRM tools to track leads, sales activities, and client interactions, providing regular reports to leadership on sales performance and pipeline status.
