Description:

Job Summary: The Outside Sales Manager will be instrumental in building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth in the Oil & Gas sector. This is a client-facing, results-driven role that requires a self-starter with exceptional communication and sales skills. This role is also responsible for the top line sales in the territory assigned while maintaining overall margin targets.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Post Secondary Technical Diploma/Degree (Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous technical outside or inside sales experience.
  • Proven track record of successful sales strategy and execution.

  • Extensive travel by automobile within the territory is required (mainly Alberta and British Columbia).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record.
  • Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including driving, standing and/or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships, as well as develop new customers.
  • Increase Qnergy’s products and integrated solutions awareness by: organizing presentations (such as lunch and learns) with key decision-makers, attending industry related tradeshows, conducting field visits, and utilizing other strategies as needed.
  • Responsible for the formulation and execution of sales and plans for the assigned territory.
  • Managing prospects and opportunities using NetSuite CRM
  • Process customer purchase orders, including review and approval of conversion of PO into internal sales orders.
