Our Sales Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing & the Revenue Office Manager in maximizing the sales potential of the hotel and achieving revenue budgets through business development for all market segments, including Rooms, Food & Beverage and Meetings & Events.
We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic person with a passion for revenue generation. You must be adaptable, self-motivated and an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Director of Sales in development & execution of the Sales & Marketing Plan
  • Create new business opportunities through research & market intelligence
  • Achieve monthly KPI’s & targets. Grow revenue across all segments
  • Support the Revenue Office Team with conversion of enquiries and opportunities, by using a reactive & proactive approach.
  • Generate weekly & monthly reports to outline a summary of all activities, successes, opportunities, threats, and market intelligence
  • Assist in creating hotel marketing materials and collateral, adhering to brand standards
  • Assist in creation & execution of our Digital Marketing plan, with a focus on social media channels
  • Effective communication and coordination with other departments
  • Perform day to day sales activity including lead generation, sales calls, contracting and rate negotiation, site inspections, attendance at National & International trade shows and client entertaining
  • Identify opportunities and cross sell to the wider hotel group
  • Identify key competitors and carry out regular competitor analysis monitoring their performance, rates and sales activity
