We are looking for a Sales Manager eager to learn with a go-get-it attitude. We do not believe you have all the answers but hope you are willing to try, re-think and try again, because that is life being part of a start-up. If you already are familiar with molecular biology and our product range that is terrific, if you are not, prove us you can learn.
Formal Requirements:
- BSc or MSc degree in the field of Business, Marketing, Engeneering or Life Sciences.
- Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in targeting new customers and building partnerships.
- Experience in the sales targeting pharmaceutical or biotech industry and more specific drug discovery and clinical research, is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; Swedish language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and identify opportunities.
- A self-motivated and results-driven attitude.

In this key role, you will be driving our business growth by targeting new customers and establishing strategic partnerships. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and acquiring new customers, building and nurturing long-term partnerships, contributing to strategic sales and executing sales strategies to achieve ambitious targets.
This role demands a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively communicate the value of our cutting-edge mutation detection technology.
We are a company in growth phase with 15 employees today. You will team up with our CEO and Field Application Scientist and together form the backbone of our commercial team. The role requires hard work, but we promise you a life changing journey, dedicated colleagues and an open and prestige-less work culture. The company is based in Uppsala and you will split your time between the office and at our customers site world wide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-sales activities include customer research, lead generation, market analysis, and networking.
- Sales activities involve conducting product and sales presentations, negotiating deals, and closing sales to secure new business.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners to ensure future and ongoing collaboration.
- Analyzing market trends and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
- Preparing forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to guide strategic decisions.
