A Sales Manager oversees the sales department’s success by setting team goals, producing monthly forecasts, and ensuring smooth operations based on revenue trends.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures a strong market presence.
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports, along with realistic forecasts, to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while staying fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively communicate value to customers.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed performance metrics and sales goals.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
