In January 2011, Jotun (Philippines) Incorporated became fully operational and establish itself as a separate entity wherein new factory in LISP III, Sto. Tomas, Batangas was inaugurated in year 2017. This is the biggest investment in the Philippines by a multinational coatings manufacturer. Responsibilities:

This Sales Manager manages and leads the assigned Customer Group sales team (Shipping, Energy, Infrastructure, Yard/EPC/Applicator, Dealers & Distributors) in a given country by utilizing Jotun’s sales tools and techniques to plan, execute and monitor sales objectives and collection to achieve sales budgets, improve customer relationships, profitability, and increased market share.
This position will be reporting to the General Sales Manager and will be based in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Sales team and direct reports by ensuring that all team members are well-trained and motivated in order to conribute and achieve budgeted sales targets.
  • Participate and contribute actively to the Local Management Team by discussing, influencing, and deciding on company objectives in order to drive the company in the right direction and achieve expected results.
  • Develop and execute long- and short term plans by applying the strategies and guidelines to the local company strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to ensure revenue growth and profit maximization of the Customer Group operations.
  • Develop and implement proper sales objectives and programs by setting priorities, selection criteria, and performance measures to serve, approach and engage with customer groups.
  • Close monitoring and following up on the implementation of agreed action plans to ensure that the overall performance coatings objectives will be met.
  • Implement standard procedures, processing, and reporting to ensure the implantation of best practices are achieved through the sales teams.
  • Organise, develop, motivate, and lead sales teams by setting clear targets and framework, coaching, supporting, and following-up team members in line with The Penguin Spirit to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the whole team.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews and feedback sessions with employees as required (KIT and yPOD).
  • Manage other functions, such as Marketing, TSS, CSD, etc.
