Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Lead daily activities for self and plan, organize, and develop strategies and goals
- Oversee hotel performance in group and leisure segments
- Capture new accounts and maintain existing one
- Coordinate activities to maintain and increase revenue and market share
- Handle business travel RFPs and requests for individuals or groups
- Align with company Sales & Marketing teams to maximize brand benefits and relationships
Sales Manager Qualifications
- High School Diploma (University degree in related field preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in a Hotel Sales leadership position
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with strict deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required, along with savvy online & social media skills.
- Must Have: Specific background within the Hospitality Industry and proficiency with Opera PMS
- Ability to travel for workshops, trade shows, brand meetings, etc.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
