Description:
Brandt Truck & Trailers is currently seeking a Sales Manager for Northern Alberta located in our Nisku location. This position is responsible for managing, motivating, and mentoring the Sales team to achieve annual sales goals and ensure customer satisfaction is being achieved within the designated region. This position will focus on the transportation and heavy haul trailer needs of Brandt customers to ensure we are selling and delivering all of our solutions and offerings.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and drive product sales through a team of Territory Managers
- Educate and direct the Territory Managers to ensure all of initiatives are promoted within the region
- Manage key financial metrics such as – sales revenue, margin growth & profitability
- Manage new, used and rental inventory levels
- Establish key KPIs for Territory Managers and monitor on a monthly basis
- Conduct regular sales meetings with the Territory Managers
- Analyze and implement proper coverage for the region
- Engage directly with the larger accounts in the region to promote full product support offering
- Provide feedback to the Division VP/Branch Manager on regional industry trends

Required Skills
As a designated leader the successful candidate must have:
- Proven track record in sales management
- Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a highly motivated team
- A relevant combination of education and experience along with a proven track record in the heavy haul trailer industry
Required Experience
- The ability to drive the sales process from beginning to end
- Strong industry expertise and knowledge in the truck, rigging & trailer business
- Ability to build strong customer relationships, maintain relationships with key customers at all levels including executive-level managers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to recruit, train, and motivate a team to pursue and grow the business
- Highly organized with the ability to work well under time pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver’s abstract will be required
- Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be able to travel internationally
- Be creative, a self-starter, team player, fast learner, detail oriented, and conscientious with a drive to “win”
- Strong collaboration and relationship building skills to drive results through motivating and influencing
