THE SKILLS WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE IN YOUR SUITCASE!

  • Proven sales and relationship building skills, within the Poland´s XML and retail travel sector/market.
  • Knowledge and comprehensive previous experience of working as a Sales Manager (or equivalent) within the B2B travel industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting targets and delivering success as a Sales professional, both in business development and account management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English other languages is a plus (Polish or Eastern European languages).
  • A solid working knowledge of Microsoft application. i.e. Office (word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Share Point, Power BI, Dynamic 365, etc.
  • Strong relationship management skills with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Outstanding analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, able to use data to identify underlying trends and make informed commercial decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload managing multiple projects with new and existing partners.
  • Strong commercial instinct and entrepreneurial drive combined with ability to think creatively and take initiative to execute effectively Highly motivated with excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to travel.

WebBeds is the world’s fastest growing provider of accommodation distribution services to the travel industry. Our products incorporate distribution APIs, payment integrations, ERP integration, Data Lakes, User Interfaces, and others. Our search API reach peaks of more than 50.000 requests per second, each one consisting of tens or hundreds of hotels, with continued expansion.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

We are looking for an experienced travel industry Sales Manager working closely with our retail and XML partners in the Poland region. With previous experience in working for a B2B bedbank or similar preferably in Polish market. Professional, credible, confident, and enthusiastic with a proven track record of meeting targets and delivering success both in business development and account management.
The right candidate will bring strong, fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Polish is a plus. He/ she will have excellent negotiation skills and will be able to influence clients at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail. Optimization of sales and profitability with a focus on meeting and exceeding budget expectations.
The principal function of this role is to grow the overall business in assigned region/accounts and maximize the revenue of a portfolio of Accounts through exceptional customer management, product knowledge and sales tactics with the aim of achieving/exceeding the revenue and margin target set for each client.

KEY ELEMENTS TO THIS ROLE INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Day to day management of a portfolio of Accounts, subject to change as per business requirements and maintaining/updating the WebBeds CRM. Resolution of all technical issues causing blockages to be resolved with the help of IT. Liaise with internal support teams to help resolve any customer service/operational issues that clients may escalate with you.
  • Act as brand ambassador for WebBeds and drive importance of us as a key accommodation supplier by increasing market share relative to competitors. Promoting the WebBeds brand, including WebBeds Sunhotels and WebBeds DOTW to Eastern European Markets. Attendance at Trade Shows and Conferences as required.
  • Building a rapport and strong commercial relationships within allocated accounts at all levels, including initiating promotions, incentives that drive profitable growth and market share. With clients in assigned accounts/regions.
  • Regular communication with internal and external clients, both in writing, by telephone, on Teams and in person.
  • Take on new clients as required within assigned account base/regions and identify any new potential opportunities, recording leads and opportunities in the WebBeds CRM.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor client booking numbers and margins against set targets and evaluate success.
  • To be part of Eastern European sales team and work collaboratively with colleagues to find solutions to problems found.
  • Become familiar and keep up to date with the Eastern European markets, who are the key players within the various segments, who are our competitors, what is new in terms of trade shows, marketing possibilities, be aware of changes both at a micro and macro level that will affect our business.
