Description:
We are searching for a sales Manager for one of the UK’s leading battery specialists.
The company produces reserve power batteries, SLI batteries and motive power batteries to all markets. The company heads innovation thanks to its dedicated technical team who develop and create new hybrid ranges, creating unique solutions and improving old technology types. Due to this unique stance in the battery sector, the company has a focus and genuine will to always find the right battery for its customer’s needs.
The company is a market leader and top supplier within the battery industry supplying products for an impressive host of applications and markets, in both industrial and lifestyle categories. From Golf Carts to full automotive, to Industrial cleaning machines, to scissor lifts or cherry picker’s to name a few.
Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience in the battery or charger industry who has time served within a reputable company ( over 2 years )

- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in communicating clearly and persuasively in both verbal and written forms.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work collaboratively while also demonstrating independent initiative.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Supervise and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Manage daily operations of the sales department, ensuring smooth functioning and efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with team members to motivate and inspire them towards achieving their goals.
- Create and Manage and manage growth opportunities.
- Manage key accounts and continue to develop and grow the business, develop new customers through innovative methods.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Work closely with, integrators, distributors, end users and engineering consultant personnel.
- Work closely with the local service department to create customer satisfaction.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Other duties as assigned.
